REVIEWS

quote I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sakura Sushi, a charming family-owned restaurant run by a mother and son team. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the cozy atmosphere and the relaxed ambience, which created the perfect setting for a delightful meal. One unique feature of Sakura Sushi is the adorable train set that carries a small selection of dishes around the restaurant, adding an element of fun to the dining experience. It's a great touch that adds to the overall charm of the place. Now, let's talk about the food. The portions at Sakura Sushi are indeed generous, and the sushi was a true highlight. It was incredibly fresh and packed with flavor. The quality of the ingredients shone through in every bite, making it evident that the owners take great pride in what they serve. In conclusion, if you're in search of a welcoming, family-owned sushi restaurant with delectable food and a unique touch, Sakura Sushi is the place to be. The experience is well worth the investment, and I can't wait to return to savor more of their delicious dishes.

quote Sakura Sushi has been here in Windsor for 20 years! I have been numerous times over the years. I love the authenticity. I had the teriyaki rolls (the omelette on the outside is a nice touch). The seaweed ships were great. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Parking was a bit tricky as the carpark was full but I didn’t mind the walk from just up the road. The aircon was perfect for the hot day. The chef asked if I wanted anything made even though there was plenty of freshly made plates on the train (and yes..it’s a real train…making it a great place for kids).

quote So sad - was my favorite sushi in town, but it seems there's been a change in staff or management. Before, we would walk in, be greeted with smiling faces and our favorite dishes would show up on the train (they were very good at remembering you!). It felt like coming in to see an old friend and eating the best sushi. Now the faces behind the counter have changed and the welcome, service and food quality is just not the same. Here's hoping this is just some growing pains and it will return to the great quality it was before.

quote Cosy restaurant with a relaxed ambience and a cute train set carrying a small selection of dishes around. It was very easy to get a table for one when I arrived at just before 2pm. The sushi was fresh and tasty. The staff were friendly and checked every so often to make sure I had enough to eat. Although it's not the cheapest sushi place, the quality is worth making another trip back to try other dishes.
